  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transportation
Take a moment to think of places you frequent often (school, work, grocery store, natural areas). Could you choose one or two days a week to schedule driving with a friend, neighbor or co-worker to these places?

    • 16-DAY STREAK
Yes, I could. I have class and baseball practice/games every week. This would be the perfect opportunity to drive with a friend because almost all of us drive separately even though we could easily all drive together
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Community
What did you learn about in the documentary you watched? How did it make you feel?

    • 16-DAY STREAK
I learned a lot. It made me realize how much our country wastes electricity. We could improve a lot with our daily and one time actions
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Water
Name some of the human activities impacting the health of water systems, both locally (your watershed) and globally (freshwater and oceans). What can you do to improve the health of water systems?

    • 16-DAY STREAK
Dumping waste into the water significantly impacts its health. I have made sure that my trash and recycles make it to their respective spots because I don't want it to end up somehow in our water systems
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Water
What are some of the needs that water meets or benefits that water provides for you?

electricity is generated from power lines. It impacts animals because by putting up these power lines, we are affecting their habitat. It helps humans but also hurts the environment
