REFLECTION QUESTIONHealthHow does/can practicing gratitude keep you centered and motivated to work for a better world?
Gregory Proctor 901 4/02/2025 7:36 AMPracticing gratitude will keep me centered and motivated to work for a better world because I will feel more grateful and happy with the things that I have in my life. Making me much more motivated to use the resources that I got blessed with to make a difference to hopefully iprove others' lives. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWasteWhile water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?
Gregory Proctor 901 4/02/2025 7:34 AMThe barriers behind using reusable bottles is the inconvenience it can be to find a station to fill up the water. Also, the price of getting a high quality reusable bottle is getting very high. I could make this a permanent habit by installing my own fill up station in my room and creating a routine of filling it up throughout the day.-

REFLECTION QUESTIONWaterHow do you think climate change will affect your region’s water supply? Think about the effects of weather, storms, salinity, and sea level rise, among other changes. How can you find out more about climate change’s impact to your region's water?
Gregory Proctor 901 4/02/2025 7:32 AMI think climate change will decrease Pennsylvania's water supply because as the air gets warmer, there will be more moisture in the air causing the water from the fresh bodies of water here to evaporate. I can find out more by examining the changes in the water level year by year and comparing that to the temperatures and the forecast of the next few years. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealthHow do you deal with the physical and emotional stress of the big problems we face? How can you help others cope?
Gregory Proctor 901 4/01/2025 11:45 AMI try to find time for myself that requires little to none physical and mental stress to just feel more calm. I can try to organize groups to hang out and just chill on the couch and watch tv to relax groups of people. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealthConsider how many hours of sleep you get now. How would you like to shift your sleep patterns? What are you finding works for you to be successful in this action?
Gregory Proctor 901 4/01/2025 11:41 AMI would like to get to sleep at least an hour prior to what I'm doing right now, this can either get me another hour of sleep or get me to get up earlier to be more productive. I am finding that I feel more energized during the day. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWasteChoosing two-sided printing can be an easy adjustment on your computer settings. How can you help others make this same switch? Can it be encouraged company wide?
Gregory Proctor 901 4/01/2025 11:39 AMWhen seeing people by the printers try to persuade them to use a double-sided print paper to save paper. For the college they could offer the double-sided prints at a lower cost to save money.-

REFLECTION QUESTIONHealthBefore you started this challenge, did you think you were 'addicted' to sugar? How do you feel now?
Gregory Proctor 901 4/01/2025 11:33 AMI feel like I was a little addicted to sugar, I would typically look to eat a dessert after every meal and I haven't found that to be the case now. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealthWhat's your favorite activity(ies) in which you experience joy while being active and moving?
Gregory Proctor 901 4/01/2025 8:34 AMMy favorite activities in which I find joy in playing are soccer and pickleball, there is a level of competition that I enjoy and I am very experienced in both. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealthHow can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?
Gregory Proctor 901 4/01/2025 8:33 AMTry to find similar interests between friends and even try new games like pickleball together. This is where you can exercise but also play games with friends. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealthHow does eating more fruits and vegetables and less meat positively affect yourself, other people, and our planet?
Gregory Proctor 901 4/01/2025 8:32 AMIt makes me feel more energized and healthier because of the natural sugars rather than artificial colors and sugar. Eating more fruits and vegetables also gives farmers a mode of living and keeps them compensated for the food they produce.
