  • REFLECTION QUESTION

How is equality for trans, femme, and nonbinary people important to a just and sustainable society?

    Prestin Punchasutthi 103's avatar
    Prestin Punchasutthi 103 11/03/2025 6:10 PM
Equality for these people are important for a just and sustainable society because it leads to a more connected environment that allows people to be who they want to be whilst also contributing to a larger image of allowing rights for everyone in the world.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Community
Why is voting important to creating a just, sustainable, and thriving world? In what other ways can you actively participate in important decision-making?

    Prestin Punchasutthi 103's avatar
    Prestin Punchasutthi 103 11/03/2025 5:58 PM
Voting is important because whoever you vote for, whether it be a president, mayor, etc. are the people who are able to best create the environment you want and need in order to succeed in America. You can also participate in important decision-making by using your freedom of speech or exacerbating your voice across America.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Community
What are the ways in which voters are prohibited from or discouraged from voting in your region and/or state? What could be done to get rid of these barriers?

    Prestin Punchasutthi 103's avatar
    Prestin Punchasutthi 103 11/03/2025 5:55 PM
Some ways voters are discouraged or prohibited from voting is 1. obviously their age, and 2. the obvious voters laws that strictly impact many minorities. What could be done is to simply get rid of these barriers via a government decision or just flat out entirely create a new and better voting system that does not have the same downsides as the current electoral college.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Community
What makes you feel connected to your campus, your neighbors, or another kind of community in your life?

    Prestin Punchasutthi 103 11/03/2025 5:51 PM
What makes me feel connected are the constant conversations I have everyday, it helps improve my overall social life.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Community
What did you learn about your neighbors or community through this action? How can building connections with your neighbors improve your community?

    Prestin Punchasutthi 103's avatar
    Prestin Punchasutthi 103 11/03/2025 5:50 PM
I learned what most of them thought of our neighborhood and why exactly they chose our neighborhood, and where they came from (basically their backstory). Building connections can improve your community by overall contributing to a more clearer vision of the perfect community that my neighbors and myself strive to achieve.

I started walking a lot more ever since I went to college, it has greatly improved my outdoor senses and reduced my carbon footprint
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Energy
What are other ways you could use the power of the sun to reduce your own environmental footprint?

    Prestin Punchasutthi 103's avatar
    Prestin Punchasutthi 103 10/28/2025 6:02 PM
I could start sunbathing or sit in spots highlighted in the sun to warm myself up. As for cooling myself down, I can utilize the cold weather to open up my windows and allow cold air to flow in my dorm
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transportation
Half of all trips made in the US are three miles or less; 72% of them are driven. Does this statistic describe your own transportation habits? If so, how might you incorporate more muscle-powered transportation in your daily life?

    Prestin Punchasutthi 103's avatar
    Prestin Punchasutthi 103 10/28/2025 5:57 PM
This statistic is very much reflective of my transportation habits. I most likely drive or get driven to my locations instead of walking. However, because Im on a college campus with no car now, I can finally explore the outdoors with my car now. I will incorporate more muscle powered transportation by walking more and maybe buying a bike to bike.
