Reduce Single-Use Disposables

Cheap, single-use items and disposable packaging end up blowing around as litter more often in poor and POC-majority neighborhoods. I will find out how I can limit single-use items and do my best to limit the waste I generate.

    While trying to reduce single use plastics, I have taken steps such as bringing my own cup when I go and get coffee, trying to eat at the dining hall as much as possible, and finding ways to reuse the plastic that comes with the items that I buy. I have observed while walking through the grocery store that almost all of the items on the shelves come in plastic packaging or have some sort of plastic element to them.
