REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Watch a Documentary about Food SovereigntyHow does food sovereignty address the complex transition from localized food systems to modern global food systems?
Hunter Ripmaster 11/30/2023 4:48 PMI believe it addresses the transition from local food systems to modern-day global food systems in a way of talking about community, most of the articles I've read show that there is more community with a community with local foods. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Learn More about Food ApartheidWhat can lack of access to nutritious food affect a community? How can having access to nutritious food help a community become more resilient?
Hunter Ripmaster 11/16/2023 3:53 PMIt can make the community more harsh, the fight for common necessities like food is very common in places that lack the nutrition needed. Food can help a community be more resilient by supplying people with the proper substance. It can also affect your personal mood by making you a happier person. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Find Local Recycling DepotsOur ability to recycle certain things ebbs and flows based upon many factors, including market demand for recyclables. Luckily there are places that accept uncommon things to recycle or dispose of in a less harmful way. What did you find when looking for places to recycle items that can't be recycled in your curbside bin?
Hunter Ripmaster 11/15/2023 5:52 PMI found that you cant recycle a hard cover book in your normal recycling bin. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Reduce Animal ProductsWhy do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?
Hunter Ripmaster 11/07/2023 9:38 AMI believe that richer countries eat more meat because they have more access to clean meat. I think that eating more meat affects our planet in a negative way because we get less free range animals and more carbon admissions from animals like cows.
