When walking, you're able to experience the environment rather than worrying about the other people. When driving, you aren't focused on the environment, only those around you. When walking, you hear the leaves blow in the wing, feel a leaf fall on your head, and nearly trip on the squirrel that decided to sit in your path. It's a much more immersive experience than simply driving is. And it's safer.

So far this has been going good for me! It hasn't been too cold yet, so I've been able to bundle up in order to go outside more. However, it has been hard to convince myself when it's raining. But nothing an umbrella can't fix. Plus, it's making me stay offline more often, and helping my health, so there's no reason to not walk around outside. My biggest thing is reminding myself that even if I get a little wet, this is incredibly beneficial for my health, both physically and mentally.
