REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicitySocial media can keep us connected with loved ones, make us laugh, and help us to learn new things. It can also create echo chambers and take more time than we realize or intend to give. After completing this action for a few days, how do you feel? What do you notice?
Jocelyn Romadka 4/21/2026 11:01 AMI feel a lot better, I feel like I have more time to take in my surroundings and be more present in the moment. I have noticed I actually feel more connected to my friends in La Crosse. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicityWhat have you noticed about your purchases? Where are you inclined to make shifts, if any?
Jocelyn Romadka 4/21/2026 10:58 AMI have started to focus more on only spending on needs like food, rent, things like that, and not so much on products or clothes. I have been trying to thrift clothes more to spend less on clothes, and I have also focused on spending money on experiences to do with friends. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicityFresh air and movement are good for our entire being and can help us think more clearly and creatively. How does taking a walk each day affect yourself and/or your work?
Jocelyn Romadka 4/21/2026 10:54 AMIt makes me feel alive and productive, and it helps me to have a good day being in the sun and taking in all the sensory details of my surroundings like the sound of the birds, the wind or the sun on my face. It overall helps me to have a more productive day -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicityHow is creativity a necessary ingredient for practicing simplicity?
Jocelyn Romadka 4/21/2026 10:52 AMSimplicity takes real creativity to figure out what to cut without losing what matters. Anyone can pile on more, but knowing what to keep is a skill. Making something feel effortless is actually some of the hardest creative work there is.
