  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Water
If you live in a dorm or shared space, how can you encourage water-saving habits with roommates or facilities staff?

    sam ross 901's avatar
    sam ross 901 11/09/2025 8:53 PM
You can encourage water-saving habits by reminding roommates to take shorter showers, turn off taps when not in use, and report leaks to facilities staff. You can also suggest using water-efficient appliances or setting up a friendly challenge to reduce water use together.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Water
What are some ways students can learn more about how climate change affects their local or campus water supply?

    sam ross 901's avatar
    sam ross 901 11/09/2025 8:53 PM
Students can learn more by checking local government or campus sustainability websites for water reports and climate data. They can also join environmental clubs, attend workshops, or participate in water monitoring and conservation projects.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Water
What surprised you most about your water footprint, and how did it influence your perspective on water use? What changes can you make to reduce your water consumption, and how will these impact your daily routine?

    sam ross 901's avatar
    sam ross 901 11/09/2025 8:52 PM
I was surprised by how much water is used for things like washing clothes, cooking, and even producing the food I eat. To reduce water use, I can take shorter showers, turn off the tap while brushing my teeth, and eat less water-intensive foods, which may make me more mindful but won’t drastically change my daily routine.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Community
How can Restorative Justice help foster the well-being of both people and planet?

    sam ross 901's avatar
    sam ross 901 11/09/2025 8:46 PM
Restorative Justice helps people take responsibility for their actions and repair harm, which builds stronger, healthier communities. It can also support the planet by encouraging practices that reduce environmental damage and promote sustainability.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Community
Why is voting important to creating a just, sustainable, and thriving world? In what other ways can you actively participate in important decision-making?

    sam ross 901's avatar
    sam ross 901 11/09/2025 8:46 PM
Voting is important because it lets people choose leaders and policies that protect the environment, promote fairness, and support strong communities. You can also participate by attending town meetings, joining community groups, or contacting leaders about issues that matter to you.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Community
What is one thing you can do to help your community become more sustainable?

    sam ross 901's avatar
    sam ross 901 11/09/2025 8:45 PM
One thing I can do is recycle and reduce waste by using reusable items instead of single use plastics.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Community
What are the ways in which voters are prohibited from or discouraged from voting in your region and/or state? What could be done to get rid of these barriers?

    sam ross 901's avatar
    sam ross 901 11/09/2025 8:45 PM
Some people are discouraged from voting because of long lines, strict ID rules, or polling places that are hard to access. To fix this, we can make voting easier with more polling places, simpler ID rules, and better accessibility.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health
What surprised you most about the products you use in your home?

    sam ross 901's avatar
    sam ross 901 11/09/2025 8:42 PM
I was surprised by how many everyday products use a lot of energy or contain chemicals that can harm the environment. I also learned that small changes, like using reusable items or eco-friendly cleaners, can make a big difference.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health
Who is most affected by environmental degradation or environmental irresponsibility in your community? How are they affected? What actions can you take to support those affected by these issues?

    sam ross 901's avatar
    sam ross 901 11/09/2025 8:41 PM
People with lower incomes and those living near polluted areas are often most affected by environmental problems. They may face health issues from dirty air or water, so I can help by volunteering for clean-up projects, supporting environmental justice efforts, and spreading awareness.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

I was motivated to schedule my check-up to make sure I stay healthy and catch any problems early. Afterward, I felt relieved, proud, and more confident knowing I was taking care of myself.
