  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transportation
The US spends roughly 20% of its federal budget on defense. In contrast, 2% goes to education, 20% goes to social security and just 3% goes to transportation infrastructure. Do these numbers surprise you at all? Why or why not? How would you adjust them if you could?

I am not surprised, but I would probably give a little more to education and transportation.

Easy things to do to reduce your environmental footprint is turning off the lights when you leave your room, using a re-usable water bottle, and even opening windows instead of using a fan can make little differences.

One of the biggest ways to reduce your environmental footprint by using the sun is by taking advantage of solar panels. They can greatly reduce the amount of energy used through unsustainable means.
