REFLECTION QUESTIONEnergyHow is electricity generated where you live? How does it impact the environment, animals, and humans?
Jared Sweitzer (315) 11/04/2025 6:07 AMElectricity in my area is generated from a fossil fuel-burning power plant. This releases polluants in the air, but not enough to immediately impact the surrounding environment, animals, and humans. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodIf you were to only eat what is in season locally from now on, what would be the most difficult food item for you to give up? Why?
Jared Sweitzer (315) 10/21/2025 7:27 AMThe most difficult food item for me to give up would be fresh pumpkins.l I tend to get an abundance of pumpkins to make pumpkin-flavored items like breads, pancakes, pies, and more. This is stuff that would only be available in the fall for me if I were to rely only on locally grown. So not having the ability to each pumpkin stuff year around would be a disappointment for me as I enjoy it.
