REFLECTION QUESTIONHealthHow does eating more fruits and vegetables and less meat positively affect yourself, other people, and our planet? What fruits or vegetables did you try this week, and which was your favorite?
Natalie Tsang 9/22/2025 1:33 PMI believe eating more fruits and vegetables helps the environment because you can give back, by compost. While, eating meat requires labor and endangering a species. I had pineapple, olives, roasted broccoli. The pineapple was my favorite. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealthConsider how many hours of sleep you get now. How would you like to shift your sleep patterns? What changes did you make to improve your sleep, and how did they affect your day?
Natalie Tsang 9/21/2025 10:40 PMI would like to improve how early I sleep and my wake up time. I began to power off my stuff an hour before I slept, doing bracelet making in the meantime to stimulate me. It made me relaxed the next day, and happy to continue that day. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealthHow did exercising each day impact your physical or mental well-being? What activity did you enjoy most, and why?
Natalie Tsang 9/21/2025 10:39 PMExercising is a way for me to let go of stress, it helps me mentally and physically. I enjoy working out my arms in the gym because I get to talk to people and workout. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONNatureFather Thomas Berry says, "... our primary purpose is celebration. Celebration of the dawn and the sunset and the different seasons of the year is a religious ritual, a way in which humans can establish their integral relationship with the universe, with the planet Earth." What is your response to Berry's assertion?
Natalie Tsang 9/21/2025 10:38 PMMy response to Berry's assertion is to enjoy the moments we have, relaxing and putting in work to better ourselves and our community. That is our peace. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicityHow can you prevent yourself from accumulating more things in the future?
Natalie Tsang 9/21/2025 10:37 PMI believe we can reuse stuff, and only buy things knowing it fits into our space, not having overconsumption. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWasteWhat was your experience like plogging, or engaging in another way to collect litter while being outside? Did you find anything unusual?
Natalie Tsang 9/21/2025 10:36 PMEveryone was very nice, they would often ask if I wanted help or tell me to be safe. I found it unusual how much the environmental community really supports each other. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportationTake a moment to think of places you frequent often (work, grocery store, school, natural areas). Could you choose one or two days a week to schedule driving with a friend, neighbor or co-worker to these places?
Natalie Tsang 9/21/2025 10:35 PMYes, going to work I could share a ride with my roommate since we both start work at the same time.-
Monet Simmons 9/25/2025 2:58 PMI often carpool with friends to go to church and to trader joes! And yes I could totally do it!
