    Sundays are good days to disconnect from technology, go outside to enjoy the shining sun, and, most of all, spend time with our moms!

    I brought a turtle to school today. It's for a project. Carrying it around with me the whole day and letting my friends pet it made me remember that to care for the environment, we also have to care for ourselves and our overall well-being.

    Today I decided to cook outside the house, enjoying the weather while it was sunny. Honestly, it was TOO sunny, but nothing better than compensating it with a great meal.

    Today, I noticed that people are exercising more, spending more time with family or friends, and even taking morning walks. Surely this has something to do with the new tendency on social media about staying fit, however, it is good to see that at least people are looking for alternatives to entertain themselves rather than just grabbing electronic devices to kill time.

    Today, I made sure to add three new types of fruits I normally don't eat to my diet; I added blueberries, nances, and nectarines. It was somehow refreshing to taste new things, they have a deep value to me, because it shows bravery and commitment with your own goals and even more when you are trying to change bad habits.

    This ecochallenge is a way to remember that Earth Day is not supposed to be only one day or an only month, but all days at all times. Humanity must take care of everything that makes up the environment, from its fauna to its flora. Our world has given us everything, so consider the damage you are making when throwing garbage in inappropriate places or buying things you do not need. Be honest, kind, eat well, sleep enough, and do physical activity. Taking care of yourself is also helping our environment.
