REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Zero-Waste CookingIn North America, up to 65% of food waste happens at the consumer level. Chef Steven Satterfield advocates for using every part of a vegetable. How can you incorporate using an entire vegetable (including the skins, tops, stalks, etc.) during your next meal prep?
clayton wardyn 10/23/2024 10:54 AMI guess i could cut up my potatoes like slice them instead of peeling them and throwing the skin away. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Exercise DailyHow can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Whole Food LifestyleMichael Pollan states that “it is better to pay the grocer (our edit: or the farmer!) than the doctor.” What are your thoughts on this assertion?
clayton wardyn 9/30/2024 11:03 AMI like this because my family has cattle and we grow some of our own food, so I like this statement. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use a Reusable Water BottleWhile water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?
clayton wardyn 9/23/2024 10:56 AMSo far having a Brita and a shaker bottle really helps me to avoid buying plastic bottles. I cant remember the last time I bought a plastic water bottle because I always have my shaker bottle with me.
