  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Water
What did you notice about your habits or routines when limiting your showers to five minutes? What changes—if any—do you think you’ll continue long-term?

I take cold showers everyday for my health and just boost my mental state, and I’m not in there for long. But I feel amazing after every time and it’s going to be hard doing this long term every day, but I’ll definitely take hot shower here and there.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transportation
Take a moment to think of places you frequent often (work, grocery store, school, natural areas). Could you choose one or two days a week to schedule driving with a friend, neighbor or co-worker to these places?

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transportation
Half of all trips made in the US are three miles or less; 72% of them are driven. Does this statistic describe your own transportation habits? If so, how might you incorporate more muscle-powered transportation in your daily life?

I just listened to my roommate talk about his new classes, and it benefited me because I am the same major as him.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Energy
Your utility company is able to tell you your average energy usage. Ask them how your energy usage compares to others in your ZIP code, region, and/or state. What other steps can you take each day to reduce your electricity usage? If you live on campus or in shared housing, you may not receive a utility bill—so what are some other ways you can reduce energy use in your living space?
