    I think learning to love oneself can help fill the void that a lot of people use mindless consumption to fill. If even a few people consume less because they have less of a void to fill then this is worth it.

      Well said! I think it's good for people to spend time with themselves - it's far too easy to get stuck in that mindless consumption of social media and the like.
