    Another week of the ecoChallenge! It was a bit more challenging as there were limited options in the caf and it was really busy but it is crazy how much you can do if you really try to fit even just a bit of exercise and time outdoors. This has been good and has helped me slow down a bit more.

    I have been able to shower really quickly and it has been a nice challenge, especially when I have to wash my hair as it is on the longer side.

    Today I participated in the Loma 5K, it was fun to excersie and spend time outdoors. I definetley recommend.

    Some other easy things that we can do to save energy and reduce our environmental footprint include turning off lights, opt for natural lighting, and spend more time outside!

    I only feel that I have opted for bottled water when I am "in a pinch" or out an about and I don't have a reusable water bottle on hand. I try my best to bring my water bottle with me wherever I go and plan to continue this habit!

    I love this assertion! I have also heard the saying "let food be thy medicine," and I choose to live according to this as much as I can.     I can invite friends to workout with me, whether that is to go for a swim, a hike, or to the gym! I also lead a circuit training class on campus, so I like to invite my friends to join to foster community.

    This does ring true to me because my morning runs serve as a type of therapy for me. I think that going on walks/runs without technology is a great way of reconnecting with the natural world, which allows us to reflect on ourselves as a whole.
