Cody Borraggine 12/01/2023 4:15 PMWhen I returned to campus this past Monday, my roommate and I finally were able to get our shower which would slowly leak water even when it was off, fixed! It wasn't a difficult fix either, just took some tightening of the spout and now we just make sure that the water is completely off to double check it doesn't continue. So far so good.-
Ariel Hartleben 12/10/2023 1:57 PMOur shower was leaking too, even after tightening, so we opted to buy a new showerhead. We chose an eco-friendly one to try to save the amount of water we were using.

REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Eat MindfullyMindful eating is healthier for us than eating with distractions. How do your eating experiences differ when practicing mindfulness?
Cody Borraggine 12/01/2023 4:06 PMI am able to relax and think about things that I have going on, things that I have been doing, and honestly really enjoy my meal when I don't distract myself with my phone or the TV in front of me -
Cody Borraggine 11/30/2023 12:58 PMWhen I was home over Thanksgiving break my family and I went out on a trail to not only spend some time in the snow (I live in Oregon) but also to find a Christmas tree for our home! It was a lot of fun and I was even able to take some photos while we explored the area -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Walk InsteadHalf of all trips made in the US are three miles or less; 72% of them are driven. Does this statistic describe your own transportation habits? If so, how might you incorporate more muscle-powered transportation in your daily life?
Cody Borraggine 11/30/2023 12:50 PMI would definitely agree that majority of my trips, especially since arriving on campus in the beginning of this semester are short driven trips close to home, but since the beginning of this challenge I have cut down my driving close distances in order to combat my habits. I can easily walk to class rather than driving right down the road and parking 4-5 times on my busy school days. -
Cody Borraggine 11/30/2023 12:44 PMI continued to walk to my classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays rather than driving, I walked another mile to add to my total miles walked and also enjoyed getting some fresh air -
Cody Borraggine 11/08/2023 1:03 PMInstead of driving to different parking lots across campus to go to different classes and meetings, I decided I would walk from home after leaving a little earlier. I walked roughly a mile today just going to and from different buildings.
