Grace Neff 4/07/2024 9:56 PMcreativity is necessary when practicing simplicity because sometimes the items that you do have access to might not be an exact fit so you have to be a bit imaginative and work with what you have. Usually, you can figure it out and rarely do you end up needing to go to the store and buy that brand new tool or kitchen item for a single task. -

Grace Neff 4/05/2024 8:28 PMThese past couple of weeks I have been really working on this because I notice such a difference in my attitude when I am off my phone during a meal. As far as my eating experience, I feel much more aware of how much I'm eating which is great people it has helped me to stop overeating as much. Eating mindfully also makes me feel much more centered especially at lunch time on work. It allows me to really decompress and think about the rest of my day which has been extremely beneficial both work wise and personally. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunity Help OthersIn your opinion, how do social inequalities diminish a strong sense of community?
Grace Neff 3/21/2024 4:21 PMSocial inequalities create a divide among neighbors which only reinforces said inequalities. To build a strong community, everyone within the area needs to feel as though there is a purpose for them. Whether that means knowing they belong somewhere, contributing to the community as a whole, or just feeling safe is essential and is something that cannot happen when community members are still facing inequities.-

And with this, we need to step up and make other feel that they live in a safe world with everyone supporting each other no matter what. And I feel this can also help bring a community closer than ever.
