    Social inequalities diminish a strong sense of community due to everyone being to busy in trying to survive and being to busy making sure that they will get by with whatever money they make. Due to this, people will not interact with others or help others since they can barely afford anything for themselves.

    Taking a walk each day has greatly improved my overall mood. It makes me feel accomplished, as I know that I am doing something good for my body. It also gives me the opportunity to engage with nature and be appreciative of my surroundings.

    Today my family and I went on a family walk to the park. We took snacks and bottled water. While on the park there were no nearby trash cans so my daughter put them back inside the backpack and we threw them away once we got home. We got our own exercise in while also reducing trash in the streets.

    creativity is necessary when practicing simplicity because sometimes the items that you do have access to might not be an exact fit so you have to be a bit imaginative and work with what you have. Usually, you can figure it out and rarely do you end up needing to go to the store and buy that brand new tool or kitchen item for a single task.

    One thing I can do to help my community become more sustainable is definitely educate and advocate for the different ways households can be sustainable. I have started this in my own household by starting a compost bin and reducing water usage.
