Recent updates from this team-
November 10 at 11:09 AMI have been getting around 6/7 hours of sleep each night, and I want to start getting 8+ hours each night. I will do this by going to sleep earlier and putting my phone away earlier. I started to read before I go to sleep instead of being on my phone, and this has allowed me to fall asleep faster and get a better night's rest.
-
November 10 at 9:45 AMI try to donate any extra stuff to goodwill or another thrift store to give back to the community, but it is hard to declutter my space because I would say I lean more towards the maximalist side of things. I have been trying to become better by using organizational tools, which has helped, but I need to be better about buying things I don't...

November 10 at 9:43 AMI volunteered at Ronald McDonald house through AWOL, and we also volunteered at Camp High Hopes for disabled kids. It was a great time to explore the behind-the-scenes actions that are taken to help improve other people's lives who are going through a little extra. It was also great to be able to connect with different parts of the community...

November 10 at 9:39 AMYes, I have been carpooling with my friend to classes in the mornings, and we stay on campus pretty much all day then I take her home, so usually, it is more than two days per week.
-
October 20 at 3:14 PMI volunteer at the local elementary school once a week- While I have been there, I have helped some of the students learn what is recyclable and not, as well as explained to some students why a reusable water bottle is better than a plastic bottle. Doing this has taught some of the next generation how to practice sustainable ways.

October 10 at 8:17 AMIt is more difficult than I thought to have no meat in my meals. It is especially hard for me to have a vegan meal. Still amazing food though!
-
October 8 at 8:03 AMTurning off my lights and my fan when I am not in the room. I could also unplug everything when I am not using them.
-
October 1 at 11:11 AMWorking out helps me clear my mind and focus on myself rather than what I have to do that day. I love going for long walks because it allows me to reflect on myself and gives me time by myself.
-
October 1 at 11:08 AMI feel connected with others when I am helping others within the community or working with the community.
-
September 28 at 7:23 PMI visit my sorority house at least 2-3 times a week, and I can ride with the other girls who don't live in the house, so there are fewer cars on the road. My roommates and I can also plan weekly trips to the grocery store instead of all going separately throughout the week.
