I have been able to get my roommate on my Eco challenge actions as well!

Through thanksgiving break I had the opportunity to save food and pack leftovers so the food did not go to waste. I also only took the food that I knew I was going to eat in the right amount of time so it does not go to waste or go bad.

One of the barrier that I was I had times when I forgot my reusable water bottle is I forgot it home a few time and the conveniences of just getting a bottle water during lunch was to easy and made the rest of the better because I had water with me. One way I overcame this is Id make sure I have my water bottle in my bag at night before bed so...

I have been walking to campus recently due to my car breaking down and having to be worked on for the last week. After walking 20 minutes to campus, when I get to class I feel as though I am more focused.

My challenges are going well. I traveled home this past weekend and I car pooled with a friend to save gas and help the environment. I also took shower showers. I went grocery shopping with my mom and we used reusable bags for out groceries instead of the stores paper or plastic ones.

It's become a lot easier for me to use reusable bags. I found a system that works pretty well for me. I keep a bag in my car so that I can use it when I go shopping and I have it in the driver's side door so I see it when I am getting out of my car.

My eco challenge has been going very well so far. I have been making sure to not use plastic straws if I get a drink from somewhere, and I have a metal straw as an alternative that I keep with me instead. I have also been turning off screens a lot lately when I finish or need a break from my homework. Instead of going on my phone or watching...

By walking around your neighborhood, you are able to see all the little details instead of driving past everything in a blur. When I go for walks in my neighborhood I am able to meet new neighbors that I may have never met before or haven't talked to in a while. I am also able to notice house decorations, which I really enjoy especially around...

I was able to find myself thankful for being allowed to have this ability to walk and to have access to it. Without the ability to walk or have access, I would probably be more stressed and overwhelmed.

Electricity is generated in the lower end of the city back home. This site that WE Energy uses, is pretty far from the end of the city where people live and many appreciate this. WE EnergY bought a big chunk of land and used a majority of it. This land was owned by farmers, home owners, and even just the city. When they took this area over, it...
