I joined the challenge to try and be more conscious of my daily actions and how they will effect the earth on a larger level. From doing this, I plan on adapting more Longterm environmentally conscious habits that will lead to a more sustainable lifestyle.

My ecochallenge is going pretty well. I have been making sure my thermostat is low when it is warm outside to try and mitigate my footprint.

Didn't get a chance to do a plastics audit today. Did spend some additional time walking outside/being outside in general due to the warm weather.

My ecochallenge is inspiring me to be more cognizant of my environmental impact, and to alter my actions accordingly

Nice! Sometimes our communities influence our actions more than we think, too.

I've been doing a daily plastics audit and have been pleasantly surprised that I do not use as much plastic in my daily life as I would think. I've noticed that some of my plastic usage is fairly inevitable (i.e. Starbucks cups or food on campus that has no other container option) but also identified ways to cut down on my single use plastics, like using storage containers rather than ziplock bags or purchasing reusable storage bags.

Simplicity Go For A Daily Walk Outside
Fresh air and movement are good for our entire being and can help us think more clearly and creatively. How does taking a walk each day affect yourself and/or your work?

I'm often less active as the weather gets colder, but decided to get out and take a walk in Shaw Park. Being out in the sun was a needed break to clear my head and helped me focus on school work later.
