April 22 at 8:29 PMI have been enjoying these challenges and have found success! I have walked to campus everyday and at night to reach my 2 miles everyday. This, as well as writing three things I am grateful for everyday, has been very rewarding and something I hope to continue in the future.

April 11 at 4:56 PMI could add certain vegetables like carrots in a stew or putting more mushrooms in my pasta. I feel that my challenge has been going along very well.

April 11 at 10:57 AMMy campus ecochallenge is inspiring and, of course, challenging me to push myself to meet my goals and to make this earth a little bit better each day.
-
April 11 at 8:52 AMI have been walking instead of driving a significant amount. Especially with the weather being so nicer recently it has been a very pleasant experience that I will continue to do.
-
April 11 at 8:29 AMI live in an area that has safe drinking water and as long as I put it through a filter (brita) the water is okay to drink. I have found that I don't have many barriers to using a reusable waterbottle as it only takes a few extra seconds to fill a water bottle up instead of grabbing a plastic one out of a case on the way out the door. It does...

April 11 at 6:25 AMI am working on using less plastic water bottles, taking shorter showers, and heating/cooling my apartment naturally. So far all of these have been a little challenging, but doable for sure. I think something that people might find useful from this experience is that I am not only helping the world out, but I am also spending less money on...

April 10 at 4:04 PMFor my EcoChallenge I picked going on a walk for 20 minutes every day. I feel that I could be doing a better job of completing this task as I have only done it a couple of days since I started. I have found it tough to find time to go on a walk. I noticed that on the days that I went on a walk I feel a greater sense of appreciation towards the...

April 9 at 8:48 PMThe campus eco-challenge has been going well and I am doing well at sticking to it. It has made me more aware of the things I do to hurt the environment without even thinking about it. I have started to become more aware of other things I can do to help conserve resources or just help the environment.

April 9 at 6:36 PMOne of my goals was to get at least 60 minutes of exercise each day. So far, I have reached this goal plus more!! I enjoy walking by the marsh as well as the bluffs, and the nice weather has been a great addition to my walks!

April 9 at 5:55 PMSo far my ecochallenge is going really well! I challenged myself to spend time outside every day (in addition to walking between classes), and the weather lately has made it really easy to stick to. Normally I like to lock myself in a study room until I get my work done, but I've been trying to do my work outside instead to enjoy some natural...
