    Today I bought produce from a local farmer's market

    Similar to my first post, I enjoy moving my body in a variety of different ways. BJJ, surfing, running, etc. And this challenge motivated to train that much harder. I enjoyed adding up my minutes for every fitness related activity.

    Forcing myself to carry around my water bottle more often than I was before has not only made me feel good by not using plastic bottles, but also it has challenged me to drink more water in my day to day. I live a very active lifestyle and sometimes I forget to drink water whilst in the hustle. Killed two birds with one stone on this challenge.

    I think that being able to change your diet to organic food is easy. It might cost a little more but I believe that the benefits that come from going organic makes it worth it

    Social inequalities diminish a strong sense of community by discouraging people to participate. If people are being discriminated, they might feel helpless in making a change.

    When I practiced mindful eating, I noticed that I was having more conversations with the people around me. When I eat while using my phone, I do not talk to anyone. I also noticed that with mindful eating I took more time eating and when I use my phone I eat fast.

    When I returned to campus this past Monday, my roommate and I finally were able to get our shower which would slowly leak water even when it was off, fixed! It wasn't a difficult fix either, just took some tightening of the spout and now we just make sure that the water is completely off to double check it doesn't continue. So far so good.

    I am able to relax and think about things that I have going on, things that I have been doing, and honestly really enjoy my meal when I don't distract myself with my phone or the TV in front of me

    I was in seattle and explored a lot of what the forests had to offer and it made me feel much more in touch and in tune with nature
