April 30 at 8:38 AMYes, most of the trips that I take with my car are three miles or less. I could use a bike or walk more to reach my destinations if it is nearby.

April 29 at 10:14 AMThe challenge is still going well for me. I have been trying to reduce my gas emissions, and walk instead. I have been walking at least 3 miles daily. If I can get there by foot, I will try my best to.

April 23 at 12:22 PMI have really enjoyed saving resources by shopping sustainably and eating whole foods. The things I buy to eat are mostly in biodegradable things and are better for the environment than goods that are stored in plastic at the store.

April 21 at 8:59 PMMy campus challenge is going well! One of my challenges is switching to cold water. I have been washing my clothes, taking showers, and cooking with cold water. I knew that using cold water was better for the environment, but after seeing the impact that is has had on reducing CO2, the cold showers are worth it!

I was a vegetarian before for a couple of years, so it isn't foreign to me; however, it is harder to cut meat out when living on campus and not being able to cook my own meals (and the Whitney vegetarian options are very mediocre). I do miss my...

April 11 at 5:07 AMWith the nice weather I have been doing good at getting outside and going for walks. I have not been updating this website as well as I should be, but I have been getting my walks in, and I have been brining friends with me.

April 10 at 11:35 PMI have been trying to reduce my sugar intake, take five minute showers, spend more time outside, and eat more fruits and vegetables. When it comes to reducing my sugar intake i’ve actually noticed how much better and healthier I feel. Normally when i would eat sugar my stomach would feel heavy, and I would feel gross. When it comes to taking...

April 10 at 9:42 PMThroughout this challenge I have found it easier to remember to do certain task like turning off the lights and use a water bottle because they are easier to remember and more simple to do. I have also forgotten many times to log my progress.
-
April 10 at 9:11 PMMy eco-challenge going well, I am eating whole foods and being more sustainable with the packaging my produce and other whole food are in.
